AgentOS Memory Writer

AgentOS Memory Writer

A small component of AgentOS that keeps a private set of AI memory documents up to date in its developer's own Google Drive.

What it is

AgentOS is a personal AI operating system built and run by one developer. Its guiding principle: the models hold the intelligence; AgentOS holds continuity and reality. An AI model (the "Brain") does the reasoning, while AgentOS keeps work durable and records what actually happened.

Continuity across sessions depends on memory. When the Brain decides that something meaningful has changed, such as a decision, a verified fact or the current state of a project, it writes a short update. The Memory Writer applies that update to a small set of Markdown memory documents:

The Writer uses Anthropic's Claude Haiku model to merge each update into the right document, then confirms from Google Drive's revision history that the change was saved.

Who uses it

The Memory Writer is operated privately by its developer for their own work. It is not a public product or service, it is not offered to other users, and there is no sign-up.

Why it asks for Google Drive and Google Docs access

The memory documents live in a folder in the developer's own Google Drive, so the Writer needs permission to read and update them there. Google Docs access is used for occasional, developer-directed edits to the developer's own design documents in Google Docs. The privacy policy explains exactly what is accessed, why, and how access can be revoked.
